Shoppable Blog Wanted

wanted shoppable blog

I want to make a shoppable blog on a budget. Probably you too. If you have read my previous post you already know that I want to go as possible far away from Etsy. If you have a shop on Etsy you understand why, and there is no need to particularly explain the reasons. Let just say it not that Etsy used to be.
But where else to sell? I have a shop on Design Bundles, Creative Fabrica and Society6 and probably a few more neglected shops. Yes, I love to test them all. They all have their own pros and cons.
But I also want my own web place with the costs as low as possible. So I decided to turn my Google Blogger into a shoppable website.

I purchased a domain. And believe me, it is the cheapest thing in all websites making stories. When you sell digital products you will also need a virtual place to store your files and you will need a file delivery system. I decided to use Gumroad. There is a free and paid version of Gumroad. Not yet decided which one will I use. If you interested in Gumroad you can read more HERE.

But beside useful plugins for your website, you also want your site to look nice.

And here is my today TIPS: learn a little bit of website coding.
You have not to become an expert, just learn a little bit to help yourself.

I'll present to you a few free online tools that help to style post, mail, website...
  • Google - when you need something ''google'' it.
  • https://html-online.com/editor/ -  Great tool for many things: create tables, align images, insert links ... On the left side is a visual editor. Whatever you place there, on the right side you'll get HTML code which you can copy-paste to your blog.
  • https://www.w3schools.com/w3css/w3css_templates.asp - Even better tool than the previous one. You can search by topic, programs... I'm usually going focused on what I need at the moment. But if you have a will to learn and practice it is a perfect place. On each part is the ''Try it yourself '' button, The explanations are clear and understandable. If you want to save the finished code, you can do it. In fact, you stop and continue later when you have time. You get a URL that sends you to the screen on what are you working on. You only need a document where you'll keep URL links.

If you want to share any useful tool, please post your links in the comments. I'll be very appreciated.
